ELM327 Identifier is a free tool to identify the ELM327 chip you have installed in your car. ELM327 is a communication protocol for the OBD2 (on-board blue tooth). This protocol is used by most cars from Ford to Volvo. The ELM327 protocol allows you to communicate with the OBD2 in order to receive various parameters, check the state of the vehicle and its components, and to receive notifications from the OBD2.
In order for you to be able to use the ELM327 protocol, your car needs to have a OBD2 port. You can check if you have a OBD2 port by looking for the ELM327 symbol on the Internet or in your car. If you don't have a port, you can also try to find a tool that will tell you whether you have a port or not. You can download the free version of the tool from the Google Play Store.
The app can send almost all commands that can be sent via the ELM327 protocol. The commands that are not supported are those that require a specific protocol to be able to send them (for example, the protocol for the car connection).
